The next meeting of the Board of Directors will be held on Zoom starting at 1800 on the 9th of December.

This is our Annual Christmas Dinner Dance evening. This sit-down meal with all the trimmings and live music is only $50.00 per person. A cash bar will be available for your pleasure. Listening and dance music is included and guaranteed to make you smile and want to dance if not just sit and enjoy.

For this special evening, we encourage all to wear their military mess dress uniform or dress up in your best evening attire. Crazy Christmas Ties and Ugly Sweaters are welcome! It is a wonderful evening to jump start the Christmas season by being with military comrades, family, and friends.

Each person or couple attending is asked to bring a wrapped gift for a veteran or surviving spouse being cared for at the Salisbury VA hospital. . Please mark the outside tag as to whether the gift is for a man or a woman, and the size of the item (if gift is to be worn). TCC thanks you for your support of this annual project.

Also, please bring a new toy (in the package) to support the Marine Toys for Tots (TFT) campaign in Forsyth County. All toys and donations stay in Forsyth County! Last year TFT gave out over 58,000 toys to children in our community.

BG Bud Martin USA (Ret.), Civil Aid to the Secretary of the Army

MILITARY SERVICE

Mr. Martin entered the Army in 1973 through ROTC as a Field Artillery Officer serving in 1/17th Field Artillery at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. He joined the North Carolina National Guard (NCNG) in 1982 serving in the 1/113th Field Artillery. While assigned to the NCNG, Martin commanded at all levels of command. In 2005, he was promoted to brigadier general as the Assistant Adjutant General, Army. His final assignments before his retirement in 2008 was NC Joint Task force Commander and the Dual-hatted position as Deputy Commanding General, National Guard, Fort Leonard Wood, MO.

Annual Scholarship Awards Night

Our most important event of the year, when we present Scholarship Awards to outstanding JROTC Cadets from Forsyth County High Schools.

Speaker - Ms. San Su

Ms. Su escaped from Communist China 30 years ago to find the World of Freedom in the US. However, she now sees the United States taking the same track that China is following today.

Speaker - Steve Nash, USN

Steve served as a menber of the 1st Navy Seal Team and will be speaking of his experiences serving with them in Vietnam.
