This traditional July menu will feature Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Potato and Mixed Greens salads, with condiments. Hot dog chili, Cole slaw, and chips.

Desert offering sliced watermelon and ice cream sundae bar.

Tea, water, lemonade, coffee.

Cash bar as always.

Dress: Casual with shorts, polo shirts and cool summer dresses.

Speaker: Major General Bob Dees, USA (Ret)

Major General (Retired) Robert F. “Bob” Dees served for 31 years in the U.S. Army in a wide

variety of command and staff positions culminating in his last three assignments as Assistant

Division Commander for Operations, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault); Commander,

Second Infantry Division, United States Forces Korea; and as Deputy Commanding General, V

(US/GE) Corps in Europe, concurrently serving as Commander, US-Israeli Combined Task

Force for Missile Defense.

He is a graduate of numerous military schools including the U.S.

Military Academy at West Point ’72, Command and General Staff College, the Naval

Postgraduate School, the Industrial College of the Armed Forces, and the Royal College of

Defence Studies in London. He has authored and taught Management Science topics in the

Department of Engineering at West Point, as well as multiple Resilience courses at Liberty

University.

Following military retirement in January 2003, Bob served as a Microsoft Corporation executive;

followed by leadership of Military Ministry, a non-profit outreach to the military. He authored the

Resilience Trilogy (Resilient Warriors, Resilient Leaders, and Resilient Nations) and pioneered

resilience programs for the military as Vice President for Military Outreach at Liberty University.

In the 2016 Presidential cycle, Bob served as National Security Advisor and Campaign Chairman

for Dr. Ben Carson. Bob now heads Resilience God Style, a national movement to restore

resilience to every area of American life, including recent publication of the Resilience God Style

book, study guide, video series, and training game (www.ResilienceGodStyle.com).

As a national thought leader on Veterans’ outreach programs, Bob is President of the National

Center for Healthy Veterans (www.HealthyVeterans.org) with the mission of “Returning Healthy

Veterans to America.” This broad and comprehensive Healthy Veteran initiative ranges from

trauma recovery using best practice, faith-based programs to career preparation which afford

dignified work, skills training, and economic opportunity

John Felker served a 30-year Coast Guard career, in which he was

Deputy Commander, Coast Guard Cyber Command,

Commander, Coast Guard Cryptologic Group, Executive

Assistant to the Director of Coast Guard Intelligence and he

commanded the cutters CAPE UPRIGHT and RED CEDAR.

Felker works with senior leaders to see and

understand the big cybersecurity picture, the risk, and the

business impact of cyber threats.

He serves as the Chairman of Triple ID, a global leader in

hardware-protected AI identity and data trust verification for AI

security, safety, and accountability. He is the Executive

Director for Cybersecurity, Seebald & Associates International

and serves as Senior Advisor to the Chertoff Group and Senior

Advisor to the Maritime Transportation System ISAC.

Felker is the former Assistant Director for Integrated

Operations, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency

(CISA) and previously served as the Director of the National

Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Center.

This is our Annual Christmas Dinner Dance evening. This sit-down meal with all the trimmings and live music is only $50.00 per person. A cash bar will be available for your pleasure. Listening and dance music is included and guaranteed to make you smile and want to dance if not just sit and enjoy.

For this special evening, we encourage all to wear their military mess dress uniform or dress up in your best evening attire. Crazy Christmas Ties and Ugly Sweaters are welcome! It is a wonderful evening to jump start the Christmas season by being with military comrades, family, and friends.

Each person or couple attending is asked to bring a wrapped gift for a veteran or surviving spouse being cared for at the Salisbury VA hospital. . Please mark the outside tag as to whether the gift is for a man or a woman, and the size of the item (if gift is to be worn). TCC thanks you for your support of this annual project.

Also, please bring a new toy (in the package) to support the Marine Toys for Tots (TFT) campaign in Forsyth County. All toys and donations stay in Forsyth County! Last year TFT gave out over 58,000 toys to children in our community.
