Robert “Bob” Louis Linnell passed away on July 30, 2026.

He graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and later earned an MBA at Oklahoma City University. He began his career in Oklahoma City with Western-Electric in 1960, which spanned over four decades before retiring.

This career was briefly interrupted from 1963 to 1966 when he served as an officer in the United States Navy, assigned to the Naval Weapons Evaluation Facility at Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque, NM.

Bob was a Tarheel Central Chapter of MOAA member from 2014-2026.
